Jarder Premium Iron Sulphate 2.5KG

Did a section of the grass without treatment to see the effect and it is very quick to appear when looking at the treated and untreated side of the grass. Jarder Iron Sulphate for Lawns 2.5KG - Feeds Lawns - Greens Grass - Strengthens Turf - 20% Rich Iron Content - Covers up to 2500 Square Metres Arrived in a cardboard box that protected the tub from damage. The iron sulphate inside is like wet sand in that it can be picked up in containers but also moulded into shape as it sticks to itself. Found that if warm water is used to mix with the iron sulphate, it will dissolve easily and be ready to use. I used a scale to measure the required 80g into a takeaway container. Then poured warm water into the container and a stir with a stick to make the crystals dissolve before pouring the mix into a 5L water jug. Then filling the jug to the 5L limit and another quick mix before sprinkling the mix across the lawn. I repeated this across the grass area and made sure not to fully wet or flood a section. I then left an area across one edge to see the difference. As shown in the attached photos, one shows the treated and untreated grass sections and this was after 4 days from the first treatment. The moss between the grass was instantly visible as it blackened. There were also a few dandelions within the grass that also died off due to the mixture without requiring further dosing. Also shown is the remainder of the mixture and with the 80g dosing used, I will probably get 3 runs across the lawn from one tub. I fully recommend this iron sulphate as it has clearly worked within the grass to kill the moss and not kill the grass itself. Whilst the lawn has a blackened look, the grass is more greener and is showing more signs of growing faster.

Very easy to prepare and use. Dissolves fast in water. Instruction is very clear but I wish they provided scoops to make it easier. I had to use a weighing scale on my first use to get an idea how much I need so I can use a measuring cup next time. My yard was grown from seeds in March and is now really healthy and green. I have cut it weekly. Very effective as it grown so fast. I love that I can raise the acidity of the soil to discourage daddy longlegs from laying eggs. My lawn has been a target of leatherjackets. This is a perfect supply for big lawns. Good value for money
