No bleach or acids, safe for children and pets (once dry)

Mixing ratio 1:5 with water, apply using a pump sprayer or watering can.

How to Use

Mix, apply and wave goodbye to mould, lichen and algae! Simply apply Jarder Spray and Leave using either a pump sprayer or watering can and walk away. Results show in 2-3 days and continue to protect your outdoor surfaces for up to six months!

Perfect for use on patios, paths, driveways, decking, fencing, terracotta pots and all outdoor hard surfaces.

Jarder Spray and Leave is a concentrate with a recommended dilution rate of 1:5 with water. The solution can be applied neat or up to a dilution rate of 1:10 for less affected areas. Speed and effectiveness of results are dependent upon the dilution rate applied.

This product should be applied in dry conditions when rain is not expected for at least 8 hours. In summer it is best to apply in the late afternoon or early evening, avoiding intense sunlight as this can cause evaporation of the solution. Heavy growths may require re-treatment in extreme cases.

Some surfaces, after treatment may produce a white or rusty brown colour. This is normal and the colour will soon disappear.

Avoid spraying on grass areas and plants. Do not allow pets on treated surfaces until the area is completely dry. Toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not spray close to aquatic habitats.

Caution: Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Harmful if swallowed. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. If in eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and continue rinsing. Immediately seek medical attention.

Contains quaternary ammonium compounds.

Not tested on animals. Biodegradable.

Test on a small inconspicuous area before application.

applied it a couple of times to concrete steps and outside my front door where there is a porch with a roof but open side. was mossy mildewey before and Jarder took a bit of time to work...maybe a week or two but there is a noticeable and positive improvement. I will use this again as it seems to do the job. much better than power washing which was badly affecting the 50 year old concrete. Would recommend this product. easy to use and effective

Previously I've tried similar products but more expensive and they worked brilliantly so I thought I'd give this a go as it was much cheaper! I used it at the end of last summer after I jet washed so I started off with a clean patio and did what it says which was spray&leave. It worked really well and kept it all nice and clean. My patio really suffers with moss in the winter so I used again on a dry day in December. It has kept the moss away so I'm really chuffed. Would definitely recommend for others to try and it will be my choice going forward.

This is a great product. As a professional gardener I use this all the time for treating decking and paths and patios. When I looked recently at reviews I was amazed to see negatives. I guess they must have applied it to wet surfaces or it rained soon after application. Spray and Leave removes ingrained stains from slabs and concrete that pressure washing leaves behind. If pristine is wanted then a light pressure wash to finish it off - but leave the stuff to work over time. Slightly damp on application OK, but works best with a dry week after.

It just works. Dead easy to apply. Moss dies and goes brown within 4 days but it takes a bit longer to disappear completely (I guess you could brush it away but the whole point of this product is minimum effort). Heavily mossed block paving now looks great; just bricks no moss or lichen. I applied it about 4 months ago and drive still looks good. Ratio of 1:5 in water and use sprayer if possible because it goes further than using watering can. I’ll buy this again when needed for sure.

I ordered this during lockdown. Took ages to come and received no update from the company so I rang them and the compeny explained they were making hand sanitisers as a priority which is fair enough. But I was expecting great things from previous reviews when I finally received my cleaner. When you pay for quality you expect quality. The product didn’t work despite following the instruction to the T. I see there are also two other disappointed reviews during the same period so I’m not the only one. I wonder if the ingredients weren’t mixed correctly due to rushing to get backlog of orders out. I’ve only just posted this review because to give it a fair chance I used my last bottle recently to see if it made a difference putting it down in the autumn, but with no better result. Sorry but I won’t be buying this again.

Not what I had expected. Mixed solution 1:5 mix , Applied it when it was dry .Next day brick paving was still showing signs of green algae so repeated the process with a mix of 1:3. Next day algae is still there . This product is going to work out expensive because the mix ratio is not working. The original brown Jeyes Fluid which you can no longer get was brilliant. 150ml to 5 litres of water, put it down in the evening and next morning paving was shining and moss killed in the process . Will have to source a alternative product

Used on some algae covered exterior walls and sleepers. Has made a noticeable difference. We have tried pressure washing the walls in the past & it didn’t lift the algae and mould at all. Used this and notices a difference on lightly covered walls the same day, after a week the algae had been lifted from the most stained areas a despite a week of rain.

This product is about half the price of its most popular competitor and works pretty much the same!. I have used it to remove algae from house sidings and block driveway... works great. The one area it was less effective was on composite decking and I had to resort to a pressure washer instead. However, recognising that I was disappointed with the results, the company swiftly sent replacement bottles so I could apply elsewhere rather than having wasted it on the decking. Thanks so much to Jade who went out of her way to resolve the problem. First class customer service.. Highly recommend this company!

Ok On Light Green Stuff, But Lacking In Other Areas

I'd hoped that this would be a cheaper option to "Wet and Forget", unfortunately it just doesn't do the same job. It did kill the light green stuff on our wooden fence, but so does cheap disinfectant. It didn't work on heavier black growth on the fence, it seems not to have budged anything other than light green growth on our slabs and it had no effect at all on thicker moss growing on a slate pathway.

We have a large area of decking and down one side of the house is woodland, so the deck gets very green. I have never tried this product, but now I'm addicted! It's done a marvellous job even with only one application diluted to the recommended 1 to 5 parts. Wish I could upload some before and after photos because the difference is amazing. Put this on my decking with a watering can which was really green and slippy with algae. I used about a quarter of the bottle to a full watering can. I did it around 7pm the next morning I could already see a difference, the algae had started turning white. The following morning all the green had gone. I gave the decking a good hosepipe down.
