Product Description
Strong Glyphosate Weed Killer
Spear and Jackson Xtra Tough Weedkiller kills weeds at the root for total destruction of the weed. Works on a wide range of weeds on hard surfaces, quickly eliminating dandelion, annual grasses and more. It is a super strength formula that is ready to use, no mixing required. The formula works quickly to knockdown weeds for a clean, weed free patio/driveway area.
Wide Coverage per 1L
Apply 30ml per m2 ensuring this 1L bottle covers over 30m2. Apply by covering the entire weed and the vast majority of weeds will be killed on the first application.
Where and When to Use?
When to use: Spray when weeds are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray.
Treat established perennial weeds at the start of flowering for best effect. Spray nettles and ground elder when new leaves have fully unfolded in late spring but before they show any signs of yellowing which is usually in early autumn. Use on brambles to kill top growth and roots; spray small shoots directly or apply after cutting when regrowth has begun and new shoots are about 15cm long, If brambles are large and access is difficult for spraying, cut down the plants and spray the re-growth at a later date. A period of at least 8 hours, preferably 24 hours, free of rain is required after application for satisfactory results. Do not spray in windy weather. Some tough weeds may need a repeat treatment after 3-4 weeks if regrowth appears. Weeds may show the first effects of treatment after a few days or up to 4 weeks later depending on the weather and type of weed. Leave weeds for at least 7 days before cultivating.
Where to use: Wherever unwanted weeds are to be controlled, including hard surfaces e.g. patios and drives.
Directions for Use:
Maximum individual dose: 30ml./m'. To ensure even application it is advisable to mark out treatment areas. Turn the spray nozzle to the 'on' position. Spray the whole plant especially the leaves until thoroughly wet but avoid run-off. Spear & Jackson Xtra Tough Glyphosate Weed Killer kills most weeds with a single application.
Avoid spraying nearby plants and grassed areas. To avoid possible transfer to lawns and green areas do not walk on treated areas until the spray has dried. Allow sprayed vegetation to die back before clearing.
